This class is designed to help you sharpen up the skills needed to pass Therapy Dog tests, Canine Good Citizen tests, and Buddy's PALS test. Curriculum will be tailored to meet the needs of each class. NOTE: no prong, choke, e-collar, flexi, and bring a sandwich bag full of treats like real meat and cheese (hotdogs, chicken, mozzarella sticks).

Do you struggle with your dog pulling on daily walks, trouble getting them to come when they're called, getting their focus? Are you looking for an environment to continue building your skills? This class can help! This is an intermediate level class that covers loose leash walking, reliable recall, polite greeting, setting boundaries, learning practical everyday skills, and building a better relationship with your dog. Through Winter, class will be held indoors only. Prerequisite for nonreactive dogs: completion beginner class/skills.  NOTE: reactive dogs must have completed RESCUE and RESCUE 2.0 classes with Amanda. No prong, choke, e-collar, flexi, and bring a sandwich bag full of treats like real meat and cheese (hotdogs, chicken, mozzarella sticks).

R.E.S.C.U.E. 2.0 Reactive. Education. Support. Confidence.  Understanding. Energy. 

Rescue 2.0 will only be offered to those who already completed the first Rescue class. 

You will obtain a password at the completion of R.E.S.C.U.E. to enter online to sign up for R.E.S.C.U.E 2.0

It will be a mix of agility, intermediate obedience, and practical life skills. Limit to 6 dogs. Dogs will be at the first class.

R.E.S.C.U.E. Reactive. Education. Support. Confidence.  Understanding. Energy. 

This class is for dogs that react to people and other dogs by barking, lunging, shutting down and are distressed. Having a dog that is on constant alert and anxious is hard on the owners and the dog. In this class, we will focus on better understanding of your dog's reactivity, how to communication with your dog and we will teach coping skills and desensitizing your dog with positive reinforcement.

Class does not address resource guarding and may not be suitable if that is your main problem.

PLEASE NOTE: NO DOGS FIRST CLASS! And, it is critically important that you attend the first night of class! The first night of class will be held at 7 pm for both classes.

This class for reactive dogs is limited in size to 5.

Unleash your dog's potential! Instead of being roadblocks, obstacles are the bridge between dog and handler.  In this fun and practical class, teams will utilize agility obstacles in a non-competitive environment. In this class, teams will focus on learning the basics of sit, down, come, stay, loose leash walking, and managing problem behavior.  This class is great for all dogs over five months of age that have not had any formal training. NOTE: no prong, choke, e-collar, flexi, and bring a sandwich bag full of treats like real meat and cheese (hotdogs, chicken, mozzarella sticks).
