Intermediate Life Skills

Have you done some basic training on your own or in another class but want to build more skills and improve your dog's consistency & control? Intermediate Life Skills is for you!

In the class, Master Trainer Carol Hein-Creger, will teach you how to gain off leash and greater distance control in real life situations without the use of force or coercion!

REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY NOON ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER AFTER NOON ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS, PLEASE CALL 517.599.0995 FOR AVAILABILITY AND REGISTRATION.

Mondays, 8-9 p.m. Six weeks: 11/11-12/16

ATTENTION:

All students must fill out a training survey.

Please provide proof of vaccinations on or before the first night of class. Can now be uploaded at sign up, but not required. (PLEASE NO LIVE PHOTOS, THE FILE WILL NOT DOWNLOAD CORRECTLY)

Canine Good Citizen - Clicker Style!

Canine Good Citizen: Train Your Dog to be a Model Citizen!

Does your furry friend have what it takes to be a Canine Good Citizen?

This course, led by a certified evaluator, Dawn E Archer, will prepare your dog for the official CGC test. Through positive reinforcement training, your dog will master essential skills like:

  •   Advanced loose leash walking: Heel like a pro without pulling!

  •   Greeting strangers politely: No jumping or barking – just friendly wags.

  •   Navigating a crowd with confidence: Stay calm and focused amidst distractions.

  •   Polite behavior around other dogs: Staying neutral with other dogs close by.

  •   And much more!

    Open to dogs of all ages!
    Prerequisite:     Doggie Do Good Beginner Obedience or equivalent experience.

    Bonus! The CGC test will be administered on the final night of class, so your dog can officially earn their title!**
