Carol Hein-Creger has trained professionally for more than 30 years. She is a recognized master at her craft and has trained many of the local dog trainers in the Greater Lansing area. Erinn Hadley, a professional handler, assists Carol to make sure you and your dog get the attention you need.

NEW! Rally is the partnership between handler and dog. It is all about teamwork, communication and fun. In Rally, the dog and handler proceed at their own pace through a course of designated stations. This class introduces the Novice Rally exercises while preparing dog and handler for AKC and UKC Rally competitions. 6 weeks. Class size is limited! Angie Falcsik of Pawsitive K-9 Obedience & Training presents an obedience class focused on pack leadership, body language, and positive reinforcement. Angie's unique class involves training the owner and rehabilitating the dog. Angie's training style involves body language as well as voice commands and developing and establishing the appropriate relationship between owner and dog. In Angie’s class, you will learn the importance of establishing rules and boundaries, along with exercise and how to enforce and put these essential aspects of responsible dog ownership into your lives. You and your dog will learn the basics such as heel, sit, wait, down, and come as well as additional training/rehabilitation measures, specific to your dog and family. Angie HIGHLY recommends that all family/household members attend class together. Six week class only $99! Dawn Pizzoferrato, ABCDT, uses "clicker training" to teach you and your future "do-gooder" the basics: sit, down, stay, loose lead walking, come when called, as well as leadership training for the "doggie handler" to help prevent unwanted behaviors. Clicker training is scientifically proven to make training and learning fun for your dog! The class size is limited to 6, so every student receives individual attention and one-on-one guidance. Dawn offers a training format that is designed for both the inexperienced dog-owner and those who've been through training, but are looking for a more interactive and personal training experience. This includes advanced loose leash walking, greeting a stranger, walking through a crowd, polite behavior around other dogs, and much more.
