Common Problem Behaviors

This class is for dogs of any age. No prior training is necessary to attend. In this class, we will address some of the most common problem behaviors I see, including bad recall, jumping up, stealing things to initiate a game of chase, socialization, and grooming cooperation. Students will have an opportunity on the last day to ask about any specific problem behaviors they are still struggling with. Each class will include a short presentation on one aspect of dog ownership (ex: debunking dominance theory and seeing things from your dog's perspective) as well as several exercises to mitigate each problem behavior. Students will come away with a better understanding of their dog's perspective, motivations, and language.

Saturdays 1-2 p.m. Six weeks: 10/7 - 11/18 *No Class 10/21

All students must fill out a training survey.

Please provide proof of vaccinations on or before the first night of class. Can now be uploaded at sign up, but not required.
