With cooler weather is moving in, Boredom Busters is a great way to keep your pet busy with fun games and activities that you can easily take home with you and have fun on those rainy, cool days.  This class focuses on building a bond of trust and respect between the human and canine, while learning how to keep your pet mentally and physically stimulated.

Advanced K9 Nose Work® continues the foundational concepts learned in Intro to K9 Nose Work® and takes the game to a new and more fun level, increasing dogs' natural scenting abilities and their desire to hunt by increasing the intricacy of the game. It uses problem solving techniques and games by raising the height of the "hide" (treat) and teaching the dogs to hunt with distractions and in new locations. The primary goal is fun! Where dogs get to be dogs. Dogs work independently of each other and with their team handler. Bring lots of treats and toys. Locations may be offsite. Completion of Intro to K9 Nose Work® required. CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED!

Unleash your dog's potential! Instead of being roadblocks, obstacles are the bridge between dog and handler.  In this fun and practical class, Carol Hein-Creger of the Canine Training Center utilizes agility obstacles in a non-competitive environment. Class size is limited!

Does your dog need to burn off some excess energy? Does he lack confidence or need an outlet to fulfill his natural dogginess? Well then this class is for you! Handlers take a back seat and the dogs rule with this fun new sport that encourages your dog's SEEKING emotion. Dawn, an experienced Nose Work Instructor, will guide you through introducing your dog to this fun, new urban dog sport. This is NOT a socialization class. Reactive dogs are welcome. Come join the fun! Just bring your dog's absolutely favorite food/treat (bacon, cheese or roast chicken may be in order here). Class size is limited.

In this class, dogs and their handlers will learn to work various types of containers including boxes, luggage, plastic containers and more both with and without distractions. Teams will learn to work through lingering odor, pooling odor, how to search various types of containers and the importance of search patterns.

In this class, Angie, a Certified Nose Work Instructor® (CNWI) through the National Association of Canine Scent Work, will teach the initial foundation skills to enable your dog to discover and enhance  their natural hunt drive, have fun, play, and build their curiosity and confidence. You and your dog will strengthen your bond utilizing their natural desire to hunt while having fun & burning energy, both mentally and physically. The primary goal is fun! Where dogs get to be dogs. Dogs work independently of each other and with their team handler. This class is for any type of dog, regardless of breed, size or temperament, and is great for dogs that are shy or reactive around other dogs and/or people, dogs with social or situational anxiety preventing them from joining typical training classes, dogs with hearing or sight impairments, or even those who are retired working dogs in need of a "job" to keep them busy and happy. Bring a hungry dog and lots of soft, easy to swallow treats and/or toys. CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED!
