Erica wanted to present to you in her own words, her farewell to her AnnaBelle’s family.
Hello my Annabelle’s Family!
Most of you know me as Erica from daycare or Erica from training classes. Unfortunately I will not be able to say good bye to each and every one of you before I move back to Washington State. So hopefully this blog can serve as my good bye and my hug for each of you and your great dogs who I have grown so fond of.
My journey here at Annabelle’s started in February 2010 when I quite literally walked in off the street and asked if I could work here. I started as a volunteer and I will be ending my journey as one of Annabelle’s senior daycare assistants and as a Training Assistant to a few of our trainers. I have been blessed to learn so much during my time here. I have learned to “read” K9 body language, which I have used to assess the dogs play style, energy level and overall mood. This has helped me make the best play groups possible for all your wonderful pups. I have also learned positive techniques and training methods from all of our trainers. I was able to be mentored in everything from clicker training, to agility and even Nosework. Heck if you name a class I am sure I have taken it with my dog Phe! The classes have helped so much to help me rehabilitate my dog and turn her into a canine good citizen. Lastly, I am thankful that Annabelle’s has helped me boost my leadership skills. Both with dogs and people, I have learned how to evaluate others to find and appreciate their strengths and skills. I have learned better ways in which to communicate with others and I am working on my flexibility/adaptability everyday.
I plan to take all these skills and more with me when I move back home to Washington State. I am sure you are wondering what my plans are for the future?! That’s the big question, right? Well, to be quite honest I am not 100% sure at the present moment. I hope to be able to continue learning and training with dogs and using those skills to give back to the dogs in need. My dream is to one day have my own rehabilitation center for dogs who need the help.
Now I bet you are wondering how you can keep in touch with me?! Another fabulous question! Facebook is a fantastic way to keep tabs on me and my pup. And for those of you who do not have a Facebook account you can keep in touch via email. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you again for letting me into your hearts and giving me a chance to get to know your wonderful dogs. I have grown so close to them all that I can tell you all of them by name and most of them by their bark! I appreciate everything that this family has giving to me and I have so many memories to cherish.

We put a little slide show together of some of our favorite Erica moments over the last two years. We will miss you Erica and Phe too, of course. Thank you so much for all your hard work, your friendship, and for putting your heart and soul into AnnaBelle’s. We wouldn’t be here without you. HUGS!
